HELLO, THIS IS LEWIS FROM NESS.FM AND TODAY I’M GOING TO SHOW YOU HOW TO EXPORT AUDIO IN AUDACITY.
SO, THIS IS THE SCREEN YOU’LL SEE AS SOON AS YOU LOAD UP AUDACITY. WE WANT TO FIRST OF ALL RECORD SOME AUDIO THAT YOU CAN EXPORT. SO, TO DO THAT WE’LL CLICK ON THE RECORD BUTTON HERE. WE’LL SPEAK FOR A FEW MOMENTS TIME, JUST TO GET SOME AUDIO TO EXPORT, AND ONCE WE’RE FINISHED AND SATISFIED WE’LL CLICK THE STOP BUTTON HERE.
SO NOW WE’VE DONE THAT, WE WANT TO EXPORT THIS AUDIO. YOU WANT TO GO UP TO FILE TO DO THIS AND THEN YOU’LL SEE A FEW OPTIONS HERE. ’SAVE PROJECT’ IS NOT THE CORRECT ONE, THAT WILL ONLY SAVE THE PROJECT AS IT IS. IT WILL NOT EXPORT THE AUDIO. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT IN OTHER PLATFORMS UNLESS YOU CLICK ‘EXPORT AUDIO’, OR THE COMMAND OF ‘CTRL + SHIFT + E’.
YOU’LL THEN GET THIS DIALOGUE BOX, IT GIVES YOU A COUPLE OF OPTIONS HERE. YOU CAN EITHER SHARE TO AUDIO.COM OR YOU CAN SAVE IT ONTO YOUR COMPUTER, SO WE’RE GOING TO EXPORT TO COMPUTER FOR NOW.
WE’LL THEN SEE WE HAVE THE DIALOGUE BOX THAT COMES UP. SO, FIRST OF ALL WE’RE GOING TO GIVE OUR FILE A NAME. WE’LL JUST CALL IT ‘YT’ FOR YOUTUBE FOR NOW. YOU THEN GET AN OPTION TO PUT IT INTO A CERTAIN FOLDER. WE HAVE A PREDETERMINED FOLDER HERE ALREADY, SO WE ARE JUST GOING TO CLICK SAVE IN OUR FOLDER STRUCTURE. AND THEN, A COUPLE OF OPTIONS FOR FORMAT AS WELL. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT ONE. .WAV FILES ARE, OF COURSE, GENERALLY BIGGER AND UNCOMPRESSED. SO, YOU WANT TO GO FOR A .MP3 FILE TYPICALLY FOR MOST NEEDS BUT YOU CAN SAVE IN MANY DIFFERENT FILE FORMATS AS YOU CAN SEE HERE. WE’LL DO A .MP3 FOR NOW. THEN, YOU’VE GOT A FEW OTHER OPTIONS AS WELL. DO YOU WANT TO SAVE IT IN MONO OR STEREO? THERE’S A FEW OPTIONS THERE. OR, YOU CAN ALSO TRIM THE SPACE IN THE EXPORT RANGE HERE.
BUT FOR NOW, WE’RE HAPPY WITH THE AUDIO WE HAVE. SO, YOU ARE SIMPLY GOING TO CLICK ON EXPORT. AND THERE YOU GO, YOU HAVE EXPORTED SOME AUDIO IN AUDACITY.

HELLO, THIS IS LEWIS FROM NESS.FM AND TODAY I’LL BE SHOWING YOU HOW TO CREATE A MULTITRACK SESSION IN ADOBE AUDITION.
NOW, THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO CREATE A MULTITRACK SESSION IN ADOBE AUDITION. I’LL SHOW YOU THEM ALL NOW.
THE FIRST WAY TO DO-SO IS TO CLICK THE MULTITRACK BUTTON YOU’LL SEE HERE. THIS IS THE SCREEN YOU’LL GET AS SOON AS YOU LOAD UP ADOBE AUDITION. SO, IF YOU WANT TO CLICK ON THE BUTTON YOU’LL SEE THIS DIALOGUE BOX. WE’LL HAVE MORE ON THAT A LITTLE LATER, SO FOR NOW WE WILL CANCEL.
THE OTHER WAY TO DO-SO IS TO CLICK FILE IN THE TOP-LEFT HERE. THEN, GO TO NEW AND THEN SCROLL ALONG TO MULTITRACK SESSION. YOU HAVE A FEW OPTIONS HERE. YOU CAN EITHER CLICK ON THE BUTTON ITSELF OR YOU CAN USE THE COMMAND CONTROL + N, OR IF YOU’RE ON MAC THAT WILL BE COMMAND + N.
SO, CLICK THAT NOW. WE’RE GOING TO CALL THIS SESSION YT FOR YOUTUBE FOR NOW. THAT’S THE SESSION NAME. WE THEN HAVE THE FOLDER LOCATION UNDERNEATH. AS YOU CAN SEE, I HAVE A DEFAULT FOLDER SO WE’LL JUST SELECT THAT FOR NOW BUT GOOD ADVICE IS TO ALWAYS CREATE A FOLDER STRUCTURE WHERE POSSIBLE. YOU CAN ALSO SELECT A TEMPLATE. WE’RE NOT GOING TO DO THAT JUST NOW. WE’LL LEAVE THAT AS IS, AS WE WILL DO FOR THE SAMPLE RATE, BIT DEPTH AND MIX, BUT IF YOU WANT TO ADJUST ANY OF THOSE FOR YOUR RECORDING THEN YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO DO SO.
THEN ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS CLICK OKAY AND YOU WILL SEE YOU HAVE CREATED A MULTITRACK SESSION IN ADOBE AUDITION.
